The Bible tells us about heaven in different ways. From the Bible, we understand that heaven is the throne of God. The angels of God and the other heavenly creatures are in heaven. We also learn that heaven is a beautiful place full of joy and worship of God. We know that there is no sorrow and sadness in heaven. Also, we know that heaven is a holy place.

We have heard that Enoch walked with God till God took him to heaven. That is a human being which we believe has gone to heaven. We can remember that Paul the Apostle made mention of a man who was taken to the third heaven and he heard words which were not convenient for humans to hear. Another instance is that of Elijah who was taken to heaven by the chariot of fire.

God knows more than what we know. The Bible says that the secret things belong to God. We do not know much about heaven until we shall be there. There is only one who is the Truth himself. Whatever he tells us is absolutely true. That is Jesus Christ. Jesus said that no man has ever ascended unto heaven except the one who came down from there. It is only Jesus Christ who came down from heaven. So, that must mean that no man has ever gotten to the heaven where the throne of God is.
