The Word of God has power to change our life. It has the ability to remake us irrespective how far our life would have been damaged by sin. The power of the Word of God is what upholds the entire universe. It is upholding our lives and strengthening us.

The Word of God can only do good to our life if we listen to what we are hearing and allow it to have effect in our lives. Hearing the word of God without listening to it cannot profit anyone. Those who are hearers only are deceivers of themselves. We should study the Word of God with understanding. We should open our hearts to the Truth in the Word of God. When we listen properly to the Word of God, we will be blessed by it.

When men do not give God adequate attention, they do not understand the Word of God. Let us treat the word of God with respect and honour God through His Word. Let us read and listen to what we are reading from the Bible.
