Being A True Disciple Of Jesus Christ. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW.
A disciple is someone who has been taught by a master and went thereafter to do what he has learnt from his master. The Master that we are listening to is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Teacher. God commanded us to listen to him. We are to listen to the master and follow everything that he is teaching us.
For us to be true disciples, we must obey the doctrines of Jesus Christ completely. We must follow everything he teaches us to do and do the same. We must refrain from everything he has taught us to refrain from.when we obey the doctrines of Jesus Christ completely that is what will make us true disciples. A true disciple is the one who is true to the teachings he has received from his master.
When we obey some of the doctrines of Jesus Christ and reject some, it cannot make us true disciples. As a true disciple, we must obey God completely. We must follow everything which he is telling us to do. Obedience is what qualifies one as a disciple.
