There are people who are really hot-tempered while there are also people who are really long-suffering. Those who are hot-tempered breed violence and evil. They delight in doing evil and causing trouble in the neighborhood. Such people have been encoded with evil by the devil. They do not know how to be good; their minds only conceive and do evil.

Also, they are people who are long-suffering. These are people who have love and compassion for others. They are kind and gentle. They are the peacemakers. They do not take pleasure in doing evil things. They delight in doing what is always good. Such people have the fear of God in their lives. They have allowed the word of God to reshape their hearts. They do not think evil.

We should be like our God. We should be slow to hanger. We should be long-suffering. We should be kind and gentle. The world needs us to response to them with goodness. Let not evil overcome us. Let us overcome the evil in the world with good.
Romans 12:21 (KJV) Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
