Frontier Mode Walkthrough!

Hello my fellow nerds. Good morning/afternoon/evening I am posting today for the Splinterlands social media challenge. I would like to write to inform the people about Splinterlands frontier mode! If you havent played yet make sure to use my referral link! Frontier Mode is a new game mode which is able to be played for FREE. Players are given three daily quests make sure to complete them to maximize your earnings!

The quests will reset after twenty four hours! For winning 5 battles you are able to earn NFTS and use them in your battles!

If you are looking to make some money you can also go ahead and list your NFTS on the Splinterlands in game market where once it is sold you are paid out in Dark Energy Crystals. The most expensive items you can earn are Gold Foiled Legendary Cards.

Reward Tokens

Dark Energy Crystals, Vouchers and SPS are the three main tokens in Splinterlands. Dark Energy Crystals you can earn from gaming and reselling cards. You can think of Dark Energy Crystals as the games not so stable stablecoin, it is meant for 1000 DEC to equal $1USD. Due to inflation or deflation of the token it will be above, below, or at peg.

SPS (Splintershards) are the games Governance token. Every player has power to vote on solutions to issues for the game with the amount of SPS they hold each token is valued at 1SPS=1POWER . This token gives you a voice for future updates to gameplay.

Vouchers

I cant forget to touch on Vouchers! These are earned from staking your SPS tokens. The team has been giving more utility to the token by offering special cards able to be purchased with Vouchers or off the marketplace from players who paid in vouchers previously! Tashoshi Drakamoto is the newest card able to be obtained for 250 vouchers or $3.55 in Dark Energy Crystals or Credits at the time of writing!

You will also earn Glint from winning ranked battles which is another mode not related to Frontier Mode, which can be used to buy Soulbound reward cards (locked to player account unless DEC paid to sell on market) Make sure to stop by Gwens Glint Shop!

The Summoner's Spellbook is a $10 one-time purchase that unlocks extra features like earning SPS or DEC, selling or renting cards, joining tournaments, and playing in Modern or Wild modes. But you don’t need it to enjoy Frontier mode or earn Glint rewards.

Updates👨‍💻

The September 2025 update just hit and it’s packed with some major updates! Survival mode’s taking a breather after this season to get a big revamp new SPS rewards are locked in, but the devs need time to work their coding magic. Meanwhile, the new Global Warming ruleset is straight fire, with every unit starting the match burning (Not the Magic Johnson type) talk about spicing up your deck! They’ve squashed bugs too: Final Rest now properly shuts down Bloodlust and Trample, guild chat’s fixed, and battle notifications are popping again. Leaderboards got win rate percentiles, and desktop players get slick card previews on hover. Plus, Foundations only frays in Brawls and sticky headers make life easier.
