Grass Racoon in my version of Amuñuñado and Coloring. Drawing and Craft (Eng/Esp)
Hello dear Holozing community, I hope you are doing well and growing with the project. Last week I started delegating an amount of my hive power and I am very happy because I am already receiving the Zing token that will serve me later for the game. For now I am receiving little but as time goes by I will receive more for my amount, the important thing is to accumulate as much as I can, and I am very encouraged to do it.
Hola estimada comunidad de Holozing, esperando se encuentren muy bien y creciendo con el proyecto. La semana pasada comencé delegando una cantidad de mi hive power y estoy muy contenta porque ya estoy recibiendo el token Zing que me servirá más adelante para el juego. Por ahora estoy recibiendo poco pero a medida que pase el tiempo recibiré más por mi cantidad, lo importante es ir acumulando lo más que pueda, y estoy muy animada de irlo haciendo.
In this opportunity I will share with you a version of the raccoon where I use the technique of the "amuñuñado" and alternate with the coloring. You can say that it is a 2 dimensional image. I usually do this technique a lot with my children in their classes, with them I have learned a variety of artistic techniques and crafts, although I am not an expert I like to do them because in addition to having a good time I also de-stress a little.
En esta oportunidad compartiré con ustedes una versión del mapache donde uso la técnica del amuñuñado y alterno con el coloreado. Se puede decir que es una imagen en 2 dimensiones. Esta técnica suelo hacerla mucho con mis niños en sus clases, con ellos he aprendido una gran variedad de técnicas artísticas y manualidades, aunque no soy experta me gusta realizarlas porque además de pasar un rato agradable también me desestreso un poco.
The technique consists of tearing crepe paper and making small balls and then gluing them on the drawing, you can also use other material but with the crepe it is applied quite well. When used on a complete drawing we have a result with relief, but when alternated with color we can have a two-dimensional image as I decided to do on this occasion.
La técnica del amuñuñado consiste en ir rompiendo papel crepé y hacer bolitas pequeñas para luego pegarlas sobre el dibujo, también se puede usar otro material pero con el crepé se aplica bastante bien. Cuando se usa sobre un dibujo completo tenemos un resultado con relieve, pero cuando se alterna con el color podemos tener una imagen en dos dimensiones como la que decidí hacer en esta ocasión.
The process requires time and dedication because there are several steps to reach the final result; so from here I will show you the whole creative process.
El proceso requiere tiempo y dedicación porque son varios pasos para llegar al resultado final; así que a partir de aquí les mostrare todo el proceso creativo.

To begin with, the first thing to do is to make the drawing, the figure on which the technique will be applied. In this case I chose Grass Racoon, this raccoon looks simple to make but it is not so simple, it has its little details.
Al comenzar lo primero es hacer el dibujo, la figura sobre la cual se va a aplicar la técnica. En este caso escogí a Grass Racoon, este mapache se ve sencillo de realizar pero no lo es tanto, tiene sus detallitos.
Ready the drawing comes the highlighting. Here you can use paint or marker, I decided to use water-based permanent markers and so I got all the edge of the figure, that way you can work much better and do not lose the details of the drawing with the coloring.
Listo el dibujo viene el remarcado. Aquí se puede usar pintura o marcador, yo decidí utilizar marcadores permanentes a base de agua y así obtuve todo el borde de la figura, de esa forma se puede trabajar mucho mejor y no se pierden los detalles del dibujo con el coloreado.
Now comes the handkerchief technique, here my son joined the action because he really likes to do it, so he helped me a little. I cut out the green crepe paper and then I made small pieces of it, just enough to cover the parts where I was going to apply the technique.
Ahora viene la técnica del amuñuñado, aquí mi hijo se sumó a la acción porque le gusta mucho hacerla, así que me ayudo un poco. Fui recortando el papel Crepé de color verde y luego hice trozos pequeños de él, los suficientes para cubrir las partes donde iba a aplicar la técnica.
In this case I focused on the lighter parts of the raccoon, as it has several shades of green I decided to apply the technique on the strongest parts, I also applied it on the yellow eyes. It is essential to always apply it on the eyes to highlight them.
En este caso me enfoque en las partes más claras del mapache, como tiene varios tonos de verde decidí aplicar la técnica en las partes más fuertes, también la aplique en los ojos de color amarillo. Es primordial que siempre se aplique en los ojos para resaltarlos.
Then it only remains to color the parts where the previous technique was not applied, so that's what I did.
Luego solo queda colorear las partes donde no se aplicó la técnica anterior, así que eso fue lo que hice.
I could have left it here and it would have looked great but I wanted to do something else, so I cut it out, then I took the Foami and drew the silhouette of the raccoon and then cut it out and glued the raccoon on it. Using a trowel I glued the silhouette ready and I got a very nice result, a fun craft that could even decorate a cake.
Podría haberlo dejado hasta aquí y habría quedado muy bien pero quise hacer algo más, así que la recorte, luego tome el Foami y dibuje la silueta del mapache para luego recortarla y pegar al mapache sobre ella. Utilizando una paleta pegue la silueta lista y me quedo un resultado muy bonito, una manualidad divertida que podría adornar incluso una torta.

I liked the finish because it has that mix that highlights some areas more than others, for example the crest of the raccoon stands out and looks very good, also his eyes. It's a fun way to create art with simple materials. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Me gusto el acabado porque tiene esa mezcla que resalta unas zonas más que otras, por ejemplo la cresta del mapache sobresale y se ve muy bien, también sus ojos. Es una forma divertida de crear arte con materiales sencillos. Espero les guste como a mí.
