Christmas Initiative: Sharing Smiles | Un pequeño pensamiento para compartir

Hola a todos, un gusto para mi saludarles y esperando que se encuentren muy bien, es la primera vez que voy a escribir en esta comunidad ya que mi esposo (@cjlugo) me comento de la iniciativa navideña, así que la he leído y me ha llamado la atención una de las preguntas que allí se muestran y la voy a desarrollar. Solo les compartiré un pequeño pensamiento al respecto, uno muy particular.

¿Cómo te preparas junto a tu familia o amigos para recibir estas navidades?

Honestamente no soy amante de las tradiciones navideñas. Pero eso no quiere decir que sea el Grinch ni nada por el estilo, solo que no me gusta mucho todo lo que conlleva la tradición. No es nada personal, pero con mi familia he aprendido a tolerar los pensamientos que cada uno tiene al respecto.

En mi hogar con mis hijos he podido ver lo maduro que son con estos temas aunque son niños, mi esposo y yo tratamos de ser lo más realistas posibles para que ellos crezcan de la mejor forma posible. Esta época para ellos es una alegría porque les encanta todo lo que la Navidad conlleva, son muy diferentes a mí en ese sentido. Yo soy una persona tranquila, no me gusta mucho el relajo ni el escándalo que mayormente se ve en estas fechas pero entiendo que es parte de la tradición.

Como familia nos preparamos como es de costumbre. Mi suegro ahorita está en planes de hacer hallacas, igual mi papa, nosotros estamos procurando ahorrar un poco más para no gastar tanto porque las cosas suben de precio, por ahora tenemos pendiente unas bicicletas para los niños. Mi esposo esta por restaurarlas y ellos están muy animados para recibir sus regalos navideños, los dos quieren pintarlas a su gusto.

Estamos procurando también comprar cuanto antes el pollo y los ingredientes para los platos tradicionales, aunque no soy amante de estas fechas si lo soy de las comidas, así que nos estamos preparando para disfrutar los típicos platos en familia como siempre lo hemos hecho.

Las navidades se pueden tomar de muchas maneras, en nuestro caso somos una familia cristiana y tenemos un pensamiento bíblico de lo que estas fechas significan o el tema principal que se aborda en ellas, el nacimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, pero también hacemos énfasis con los niños más que todo para recordarles su obra de redención que consiste en su muerte por nuestros pecados y su resurrección, para nosotros es la verdadera navidad y es el tema que más le inculcamos a nuestros pequeños.

Ya estamos en Diciembre y esperamos disfrutar lo más posible las cosas buenas que este tiempo nos permite compartir como familia. Esas son mis ideas en base a la pregunta que decidí responder. Con este post estaré colaborando para la actividad que tienen prevista realizar con los niños de bajos recursos.

Hello everyone, it is a pleasure for me to greet you and I hope you are very well, it is the first time I am going to write in this community since my husband (@cjlugo) told me about the Christmas initiative, so I have read it and one of the questions shown there has caught my attention and I am going to develop it. I will only share a little thought about it, a very particular one.

How do you and your family or friends prepare to receive this Christmas?

Honestly, I am not a lover of Christmas traditions. But that doesn't mean I'm the Grinch or anything like that, I just don't really like everything that tradition entails. It's nothing personal, but with my family I have learned to tolerate everyone's thoughts on the subject.

In my home with my children I have been able to see how mature they are with these issues even though they are children, my husband and I try to be as realistic as possible for them to grow up in the best way possible. This time of year is a joy for them because they love everything that Christmas entails, they are very different from me in that sense. I'm a quiet person, I don't like much the fuss and fuss that is usually seen at this time of year, but I understand that it is part of the tradition.

As a family we are preparing as usual. My father-in-law is now planning to make hallacas, as is my dad, we are trying to save a little more to not spend so much because things are going up in price, for now we have pending some bicycles for the children. My husband is about to restore them and they are very excited to receive their Christmas gifts, they both want to paint them to their liking.

We are also trying to buy as soon as possible the chicken and the ingredients for the traditional dishes, although I am not a lover of these dates, I am a lover of food, so we are getting ready to enjoy the typical dishes as a family as we have always done.

Christmas can be taken in many ways, in our case we are a Christian family and we have a biblical thought of what these dates mean or the main theme that is addressed in them, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we also emphasize with the children more than anything to remind them of his work of redemption that consists of his death for our sins and his resurrection, for us is the real Christmas and is the theme that we most instill in our little ones.

We are already in December and we hope to enjoy as much as possible the good things that this time allows us to share as a family. Those are my ideas based on the question I decided to answer. With this post I will be collaborating for the activity that you have planned to do with low-income children.
