Artwork: Miu Miu posing in the meadow || Mosaic art (Eng/Esp)
Hello dear Holozing community, I hope you are well, today I bring for you a Mosaic artwork that I decided to make of Miu Miu, one of the creatures that I was missing to make. There are less and less that I am missing but with the recent evolutions four more are added. The traditional Mosaic art is practically a mix between handicraft and drawing that results in a beautiful finish.
Hola estimada comunidad de Holozing, esperando se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy traigo para ustedes un arte en Mosaico que decidí hacer de Miu Miu, una de las creaturas que me faltaban por realizar. Ya cada vez son menos las que me faltan pero con las recientes evoluciones se añaden cuatro más. El arte en Mosaico tradicional es prácticamente una mezcla entre manualidad y dibujo que da como resultado un bonito acabado.
Once I drew Miu Miu with graphite the next thing I did was to highlight with marker the edges to define them, it is a necessary and previous step to apply the technique.
Una vez dibujado Miu Miu con grafito lo siguiente que hice fue resaltar con marcador los bordes para definirlos, es un paso necesario y previo para aplicar la técnica.
I started to work on the background, I imagined it on top of a stone and trees around it with a very clear sky. For this I used recyclable paper for the stone, I drew the trees, first the trunk, then the leaves and cut them out. Then I painted the sky with watercolor mixing with intense blue with white to get the tone I wanted, then I made the grass around it.
Comencé a trabajar en el fondo, me lo imagine encima de una piedra y arboles a su alrededor con un cielo muy claro. Para esto use papel reciclable para la piedra, los arboles los dibuje, primero el tronco, después sus hojas y las recorte. Seguidamente pinte el cielo con acuarela mezclando con color azul intenso con blanco para obtener la tonalidad que deseaba, después le hice el césped a su alrededor.
Finally I worked with the cat, where I applied the mosaic technique, for that I painted a leaf in gray color mixing black and white watercolor, and on the other hand I painted a leaf with white watercolor, I cut them in small pieces and with glue I proceeded to fill the cat in each of its parts. I followed the gluing procedure until I finished the whole drawing.
Finally I worked with the cat, where I applied the mosaic technique, for that I painted a leaf in gray color mixing black and white watercolor, and on the other hand I painted a leaf with white watercolor, I cut them in small pieces and with glue I proceeded to fill the cat in each of its parts. I followed the gluing procedure until I finished the whole drawing.
As a last step I highlighted the details with marker and that way I got a nice finish. I hope you like it.
Como último paso resalte los detalles con marcador y de esa forma obtuve un bonito acabado. Espero les guste.
