Health tip: Magnesium Citrate (Engl / Spn)

Greetings, I hope you have good health, happiness and harmony. Today I want to share another health tip with you, and it is a medication, which is classified as a mild laxative known as MAGNESIUM CITRATE. It can also be considered as a mineral preparation, which is presented as a salt, and which can be presented in powder or tablets. It is generally consumed as a nutritional supplement in diets with deficiencies in this mineral.

Hoy quiero compartirles otro tip de salud, y es un medicamento, que se clasifica como un laxante suave que se conoce como CITRATO DE MAGNESIO. También puede considerarse como un preparado mineral, que se presenta como una sal, y que puede presentarse en polvo o en tabletas. Por lo general se consume como un suplemento nutritivo, en dietas con déficits de este mineral.

I started taking these 500 mg Magnesium Citrate tablets daily approximately two months ago. Initially these tablets were bought by my husband for both of us, but it causes diarrhea for him, so he stopped taking them, however, they do not have this effect on me. Initially it did increase my daily bowel movements, but then this evened out, so I continued to take the pills them daily.

Yo comencé a tomar diariamente estas tabletas de 500 mg de Citrato de Magnesio, hace aproximadamente dos meses. Inicialmente estas tabletas las compró mi esposo para los dos, pero a él le causa diarrea, así que dejó de tomarlas, sin embargo, a mí no me producen este efecto. Inicialmente sí aumentó mis evacuaciones diarias, pero luego esto se equilibró, así que continué ingiriéndolas diariamente.

MAGNESIUM has many benefits for human health, since it protects the cardiovascular system, preventing strokes or cardiovascular accidents. It also has a calming or sedative effect, which I have been able to verify, since the quality of my sleep has improved significantly since I have been taking these pills. There are many other benefits, but for now, I can talk about these two, in addition to the slight laxative effect. El MAGNESIO tiene muchos beneficios para la salud humana, ya que protege el sistema cardiovascular, previniendo ictus o accidentes cardiovasculares. También tiene un efecto tranquilizante o sedante, lo cual he podido comprobar, ya que la calidad de mi sueño ha mejorado notablemente desde que estoy tomando estas pastillas. Hay otros muchos beneficios, pero por los momentos, puedo hablar de estos dos, además del ligero efecto laxante. I take this medication punctually before going to sleep. I have read that it is highly recommended to consume it with the last meal of the day, but since I usually work after dinner, I postpone it until it is my time to sleep, because in 15 minutes I am already very sleepy..

Tomo puntualmente este medicamento antes de dormir. He leído que muy recomendable consumirlo junto a la última comida del día, pero como por lo general trabajo luego de la cena, lo postergo hasta que es mi hora de dormir, porque en 15 minutos ya tengo mucho sueño.

Oh, no! Magnesium citrate is a laxative! Try other forms of citrate, such as bisglycinate. The main thing is to look at the description for the amount of pure magnesium. I take magnesium chelate capsules, 0.133 mg.

I will look for that type of magnesium in my area. I really experienced a laxative effect the first few days, then it stopped producing that effect on me. What I like most is that I can fall asleep better and sleep longer.

If you still don't take vitamin supplements, it's probably because you're in good health.

Taking magnesium is something healthy that you may be able to do later.
