FungiFriday: Some mushrooms with expanded pileus (Engl / Spn)

Greetings on this new #FungiFriday. This is my fourth post about mushrooms of the 2025 season, and I think there will be fewer than last year, since for one or more reasons, there are fewer mushrooms on my backyard.

Saludos en este nuevo viernes de #FungiFriday. Este es mi cuarto post de setas de la temporada 2025, y creo que serán menos que el año pasado, ya que por una o varias razones, hay menos setas en mi solar.

On one of my walks around my plot, I noticed some mushrooms that had already expanded their pileus. The pileus is what is colloquially known as the cap or lid, and the mushrooms I'm sharing today had already completed the process, presenting this part (pileus) as an almost convex shape.

En una de mis caminatas por mi solar, pude observar algunos hongos que ya han expandido el píleo. El píleo es lo que se conoce coloquialmente como tapa o sombrero, y los hongos que hoy comparto, ya habían completado el proceso, presentando casi convexa esta parte (píleo).

This process is very important because it occurs when the mushrooms are mature, and as they expand, they release the spores that allow them to spread and reproduce. Obviously, the mushroom's original form changes significantly, both in shape and color.

Este proceso es muy importante, pues ocurre cuando las setas están maduras, y al hacer esta expansión, liberan las esporas que les permitirán propagarse, reproducirse. Obviamente la forma original de la seta cambia notablemente, tanto en forma como en color.

En esta foto es posible ver el envés del píleo, es decir, la parte inferior del mismo, la parte de abajo del sombrero. Son muy hermosas las formas radiales o láminas del himenio. Cabe señalar que esta es la parte fértil de estas setas.

Here I conclude my post today, in which I wanted to share part of a fundamental process of mushrooms, which I have been able to detail in this 2025 season. Greetings to all, and remember that all living beings are very important for life on our planet. Hugs!
