and I thought.
What a sad sad sad statement. Money is nice but community, friends, family trump it by a mile.

Maybe a sad statement, but still true and honest for the most of the Hive blockchain users.

The natural platform usage, the real, meaningful comments, the actual interest in the contents are nowadays generally rare on the Hive blockchain.

if you are here for free things you are part of the problem.
That makes you a value extractor instead of a value creator.

No. I am not here for free things. Quite the opposite.

I have invested more than $2500 USD in total in Hive Power and in Hive Dollars (HBD) savings.

Investing your own money into something does not make you a value extractor.

it's OK for people to come to a community for the money, but after a while many of those people stay for the people and relationship and contributions. If it's just purely for the money, just focus on the wallet and don't communicate.
