A castle filled with ghosts.

Hello dear friends,

I'm taking advantage of this space here on Liketu to share with you another discovery I made this summer, perhaps places where I took fewer photos, but which I believe can still be very interesting, especially today's because it's a very mysterious castle located in Valle d'Aosta. In fact, I've always been fascinated by castles since I was a child, not only from an architectural point of view - as you may know, I am passionate about art, and these structures especially appeal to me for how they were built - but I am also very intrigued by the stories they hold within their walls.

In these photos, you can see the Saint-Marcel Castle, which is located in this municipality in Valle d'Aosta. However, the disappointment came when I went to explore its interior; I found it closed and in a state of decay. Yet, according to those who accompanied me and live in the area, the municipality has spent a lot of money in the past to restore it and make it accessible to people with disabilities.

It is said that inside, there are various ghosts of people who lived in the castle and died in strange ways, even ghosts who would roam the castle wearing hoods. I truly regret not having taken the tour inside to feel the presence of these entities, which I believe sometimes become trapped inside these manors. Currently, there are only reports from people who have heard noises from the outside, but there is nothing scientifically confirmed.

What really breaks my heart is seeing this wonderful castle abandoned to its fate, and I must say I have often come across such things in Italy, and it's a real shame.
Being a very positive person, I hope that someday it can be opened to the public. I must admit that I had a somewhat crazy idea of coming here at night to see for myself if these presences really exist.
