Working on a new oil on canvas.

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all!
The Summer here in Tuscany started in a very hot way, but I'm lucky because our lab room is the cooler room inside my home, so I can work there in a comfortable way some hours at day (in the morning and during the late afternoon).

Few days ago I shared with you a study I painted on my sketchbook about one of my "rounded head" women with large eyes and a tiny scene about home on her hair. It was a study/sketch to understand if that one could work on a larger canvas and yesterday, late in the afternoon, I started to work on it, before and after the dinner.

You know I like to take some pics of myself while I'm working in my lab and I love to take them in black and white, so here I am:

Just to know, the tanktop I'm wearing in the pics was white just at the start of the work, after one hours it was full of different spots of oil colors. 😆
I like how the light on the first one is on my neck and shoulder. To take pics in black and white help me to study also how the light (and the shadow) work, because in this way I can focus my attention on them more than I can for the color pics.

I know in the previous pics you can see me, but you can't see what I'm painting, so I took another pic when I pause myself just to show you the work in progress of the painting:

I think I'll need some other days to finish it, but it depends the weather we will have here in my area. 😁
