Wednesday walk : a sunny morning walking along the alleys

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
This is the first content I wrote for the #Wednesdaywalk community and it's really a pleasure for me to share with you some pics I took this morning while I was walking to the market in the main square of my city (Pistoia, Italy). It's a sunny warm day here and, in the middle of the morning, I felt the need to pause my work on art to move my legs in relax.
Along the time I read many contents about the weekly challenge "Wednesday walk" and I think it's really an awesome opportunity to do something healthy and, at the same time, to show some details ofthe city where we live. ❤️

At first, one of the many "Madonnine" we can see along the alleys of the tuscan city. We call them "Madonnine", but the name of this kind of things aedicula. It is a small shrine, a sort of niche (a religious niche) typically framing a statue or a painting about Saint Mary.

It's not simple to watch inside of it cause the shadows, but there is an ancient painting of Saint Mary:

In the square called "Piazza San Lorenzo" that is between my home and the center of my city, since some months there are some men at work. Until a couple of years ago there was some very high trees there, but they were damaged by an hard rain storm and so the municipality decided to "adjust" the square to make it less dangerous for citizen. As you can see, around thois small square there are some ancient interesting buildings and I can't wait to see them open again. I think it will be ready in a couple of months and, sure, I'll take some pics of it to share with you.

Well, now I have to come back to my brushes and colors. ❤️
