Waiting the right inspiration.

Hello hivers, I'm back here just to share with you a simple painting I did this morning as an exercise for my imagination.
It happens, from time to time, I feel myself without a right inspiration or idea for a new artwork. You know I use to paint or sketch something new every day to improve my skills, to experiment different mediums or surfaces or just to fix some thoughts and ideas.
Today it's one of those days: at the moment I don't have the "right" feeling to work on something new. I perfectly know it's just a sort of break and I'll come back to my daily artworks tomorrow, but in the meantime I gave some touches of oil colors on a scrap of paper and this is the result:

It's a very very simple (and fast) landscape, but it could help me to understand if something similar could work on a painting in my own illustrative style.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A5 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the process too:
