Time for a new tiny house (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
It's a very hot day here in Tuscany (Italy), the Sun is shining since some days and we are having around 32 °C (89 °F). I'm working on my small working table between the window and a fan and sitting here I can see the mom blackbird who is giving food to her little one (even if that one now is not so little 😀 ).

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors so I could work during the fresh hours of the day.
I thought it was time for a new little houses in my own illustrative style and so I worked on the following one:

I had an old small frame inside my lab, so I added it to the small artwork.

As you can see, it's a simple scene about home as I use to paint from time to time.
The artwork is a mixed media (oil colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the process too:

Today it's too hot to work on something bigger, so I think I'll paint some other tiny paintings I'll show you on the next days. ❤️

I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

You have it hot! It may get to 26C here this week. Do you have issues with your paint when it's hot?

Fortunately our lab room is fresh enough to work in a comfortable way. I don't have issues working with oil colors, but if I use acrylic colors they dry so so fast (because they are water based). The main problem is for my mind, because when it's very hot I feel myself boiled. :D

The heat can be a distraction. You just want to cool off, but that is not always easy to do.

I love the drawing, it's absolutely beautiful! The color of the little house is lovely, and I think the technique is the perfect choice. Greetings!
