Thinking about the sea (oil on paper)
An happy Wednesday to you all! Another warm sunny day here and I love so much to work on my artworks under the natural light.
This morning I woke up soon as usual and, after the first cup of coffee of my day, I placed my small working table close to the open window so I could work breathing the fresh air of these first days of March.
At first I thought it was time to work on a tiny painting about the sea and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of that small piece:
As you can see, I painted one of my usual paper boat in my own illustrative style. I like to paint this kind of paper boat, it reminds me to my childhood when I used to make them with my dad and we went to the river in my village to watch them on the water. ❤️
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (the size of a common postal card) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it on my working table so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Etsy shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home where to be loved!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
