Thinking about home (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all!
It's a warm, sunny day here in my area, the Sun is shining on the sky and it makes me feel the Summer is just around the corner. ❤️

This morning, like I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork inspired by the study I shared with you yesterday during the first hours of the day. I love to work soon in the morning while the city is still quiet and silent. In the following pics, you can see the final result of the artwork I finished before the lunch:

I have to premise I was happy to read the comments of the sketches I made yesterday and yes, now every time I watch that one and this new one I think it's true: it looks like a potato with a face (even if I was thinking about an ancient sculpted idol)! 😆
This piece is an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painting this funny face (with a tiny scene about home on the head) so you can see the process too:
