Thinking about an ancient idol. 😊

Hello hivers, I wish a nice Monday to you all! I hope you spent an happy weekend and a good start of a new working week! ❤️
Our weekend was full of nice things and it was a very sweet weekend, but I will tell you more about it in the next days, I promise!
Today I'm here to share with you a recent sketch / study a painted on my sketchbook this morning.

Days ago, on a weekly newspaper, I watched some pics about ancient sculptures of different countries and my attention was focused on a one that represent a large face, so I thought to study how to paint a similar one in my own illustrative style and so this morning I made it. 😁

At the end, I'm satisfied by this result and so, on the next days, I'll paint a new one to add to my gallery on Artfinder.
The one in the pic is an oil colors painting on a page of my sketchbook (around 1500 gsm paper in A4 size) and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted this funny "ancient idol" so you can see the process too:
