The white sheep (oil on canvas)
An happy Tuesday to you all!
Another day, another new painting to show you. During these days my mind and my hands looks like a train that is running from a station to another station all the day, because I'm having a busy time on my art before to be (almost) ready for my solo exhibition. I'm waorking on different artworks at the same time and my lab looks a place where a lot of persons are working together. :D
The subject of the piece I want to show you today is my usual freaky sheep in white, but this time I chose to paint it on a canvas in form of square. I did it because I want to place 3 of them (one in white, one in black and the third one in ocher color) in my next solo exhibition in August.
The room where I'll place my artworks for the exhibition is a very large room, so I thought to paint my freaky sheep in a larger size than my usual. I use to paint them on 200 gsm paper in A6 size, while this kind of canvas is 20 cm x 20 cm x 2 cm (7,8" x 7,8" x 0,8").
You can see the final result in the following pics:
The details:
I took some pics while I was painted this freaky sheep so you can see the process too:
At know I'm not sure to add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), maybe I'll wait the end of my solo exhibition and, just after, I'll add it on my online gallery !
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

Interesting! The close-up picture of the portrait does give a feel of the texture (definitely not smooth) lovely artworks- the sheep does look like a cotton ball on sticks- which begs one to wonder aren't they all just that 😁
Thanks so much for your nice words! ^_^
The pleasure is mine🙏🏽
Cute little sheep🤩
Thanks so much, dear @torem-di-torem ❤️
