The solo exhibition of the italian artist Filippo Biagioli

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! We are having a warm, sunny day here in my area and I feel myself full of positive energy and ready to work on some new piece of mine.

Yesterday me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went to the opening of the solo exhibition of the italian artist Filippo Biagioli, who is an artist (painter and sculptor) I love so much and who is also a friend of mine.
It was simply fantastic, believe me! At first Filippo told us about his artworks, the techniques, the materials, the meanings and his sources of inspiration too. While we was showing us the pieces along the walls of the rooms inside the art gallery, outside there was also a young band that was playing songs in blues/swing style.

Filippo uses different medium and materials in his pieces and his style is a mix of pop, primitives and I can see also a little Jean-Michel Basquiat's style.

I think these pics I took are not good enough to represent the emotion I felt when I was there between all those pieces. Even if the style of Filippo (who is also a very awesome and interesting person) is very different from my own style, I like his work very very much and in time I bought some pieces made by him. ❤️

I like everything he does and creates in the art fields, from the canvas to the sculptures to the t-shirt with his drawings in a primitive style.
In the following pics you can see an installation in the backyard of the art gallery. A lot of tiny rounded figures in different colors made using cement.

We spent a very nice afternoon there and all the emotions I felt yesterday now are becoming a lot of inspirations. ❤️
