The shepherd (oil on paper)

Hello hivers,an happy Sunday to you all!
I just came back at home after a long walk along the side of the river close to my home. After the rainy yesterday, the water in the river run fast, but there were a lot of sweet birds singing around and the ducks were quiet in a corner full of fresh grass. It was a nice, relaxing walk. ❤️

This morning I woke up sooner than usual and I could see the Sun (a pale Sun) rising on the sky between some white clouds. The clouds made me think about a flock of sheep and so I thought to paint a sheperd! 😊

As you can see, the subjects are 2: an human figure with a long blue dress and a sheep, both of them in my usual illustrative style.
The piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you every time I paint a new one, I took some pics while I was working on it so you can see the work in progress:
