The second commissioned artwork about the sea. 🐟🐟🐟
Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
Another (very) hot day here, but I have to work on some commissioned artworks that makes me think about something cooler, because, as I wrote yesterday, one of my customer asked me to paint 10 new pieces of the series "Thinking about the sea"! 🐟
While my new furry friend Nanny (the mom) and Bimba (the little one) were playing together soon in the morning, I worked on the second coommissione oil on paper and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
This one is about a large rounded red fish under the sea and I added a paper boat too! To be honest, I think there is nothing better than to paint something about the sea and the water during this hot June, even if i'd like more to be inside a pool full of cool water now! 😉
Like the previous one I shared with you yesterday, this piece is an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the work in progress:
I have to paint other 8 artworks for this commission, so stay tuned to see them. 🐟
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

Congratulations on your commission! Do you find that the work gets in the way of personal work you want to create? I was chatting with an artist friend of mine and she had a dilemma where her commissions were bogging her down from completing the work that she wanted to work on.
Also, the textural depth of your palette / mixing board on the right looks like a Jackon Pollock painting :D
Your drawing is very nice, I really liked the color you applied to the fish.
Greetings @silviabeneforti ,
What lovely lively painting with the red fish, quite handsome, he is.
Kindest Regards,
Bleujay
NB You are too kind....so appreciate your kind reblog of Bleujay's post.
