The seagull. 🐦
Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all!
Another Friday (another very hot Friday here), another weekend around the corner waiting to enjoy a little cool air to come back to life. 😁
Yesterday, in the afternoon, I went to the cousin of my hubby to help the mom with the 2 little twins (now they are around 10 months old). She was very very tired because the little ones are sleeping not so well cause the very hot weather and, in the meantime, the older son (just 9 years old) needs a little attention too and so I was happy to help her for 2-3 hours. When the little ones did a nap I let her sleep with them, while I played Monopoly with the older one. It was funny and even if he win against me (smart boy! ^_^ ) he was really awesome with me while we were playing. ❤️
Just to know, even if when I was there between all those children I felt myself a strong young woman, when I came back at home I felt myself like a 100 years old woman. 🤣
Coming back to my daily painting, today I'm here to share with you the seventh artworks I painted for the commission. This morning, like I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first cooler hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
As you can see, the subject is a seagull (in my own illustrative style) on a branch in the shades of blue colors similar to a sort of sea with a tiny paper boat on it.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting this funny bird so you can see the process too:

Yes, the little rascals are not merciful. It starts to get light already at 2.30, then they start screaming at the top of their lungs. Then it's hard to fall asleep. I'm not scolding your painting because it's so cool! Maybe it's better to have a seagull painting on the wall in your room than a bunch of them outside the window!
