The Queen in white (oil on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all!
Cloudy day here in my area, but I just come back at ome after a couple of hours with the awesome cats of my daughter (she will come back at her home tomorrow, after a week of honeymoon with her hubby Vanni). I like to spend a little time with her cats, because they are so funny all together. Everyone of them has his/her own personality. The red male is always the first to arrive when we open the door and he is a very curious cat, while the younger female like to play hide and seek every time we are there. 😀
This morning I woke up soon as I use to do every day and while the city was silent and quiet, I worked on the head of one of my next large paper dolls. As I wrote before, I work on a group of large paper dolls (about one meter high/ 39") to create a sort of installation for my next solo exhibition in August.
You can see the final result of te head in the following pic:
As you can see, after the first large paper doll with a tiny home on her head, this time I chose a sea theme.
It's an oil painting on 400 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I do the most part of the time I show you something new, I took some pics while I was painted this head so you can see the process too:
Stay tuned to see the entire large paper doll with dress, legs and arms. ^_^
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
