The grey heron (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
It's a warm, quiet day here and I spent a long pause from my work walking along the side of the river close to my home. As you know, I love to take pics of the birds and ducks I watch in that relaxing place. I like to share them with you and they are also a source of inspiration for my artworks.

This morning, watching one of the pics I took of a beatiful grey hevron I use to meet when I walk there, I painted a portrait of it (sure, in my own illustrative style!) and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, I couldn't resist to add my usual one of my usual tiny house and tiny figures on its head.

The pic (I took by my camera just few day ago) that inspired me to paint this one is the following one:

The piece is a mixed media (oil colors, acrylic colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I love to do, I took some pics while I was painted this bird so you can see the process:
