The funny red whale (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend in relax or doing something you love to do! ❤️
It's another hot day here, the Sun is shining on the sky and my furry friends Nanny (the mom) and Bimba (her little ones) are sleeping in a corner of my lab room, the cooler room inside my home.
Yesterday I spent the most part of the day in relax, but I also had a couple of hours in good company, because my friends Elena and my daughter (with her hubby) came to my home for a good cup of coffee and some random chats.
This morning, like I love to do every day, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first and quiet hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of my daily piece:

As you can see, the main subject is a funny red whale under the sea while a paper boat is sailing over it.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I want to share a new artwork with you, I took some pics while I was painting this funny figure so you can see the process too:
