The funny little monster (mixed media on paper)

An happy Saturday to you all!
Another rainy and grey day here in my area and so I can't spend my pauses from my work on art enjoying the fresh air in my backyard or walking along the side of the river close to my home (my favorite place where I can relax my mind).
The raindrops are falling down from the sky since a couple of days and I spending my freetime sketching little "things" like some little, funny monsters. You know monsters are not the subjects of my usual paintings, but an artist, in my opinion, have to improve his/her skills, techniques, ideas, imagination, etc every time he/she can. It's a long life learning, but it's also funny and excited, believe me. Today I'm here to show you a fast, funny monster I just finished:

I had so much fun to image this "monster" with a long long nose like an elephant and a lot of eyes on the face.
It's an exercise to improve my imagination going out from my usual "comfort zone". ^_^

To paint it I used different media: oil colors,ink and also the collage (the body is a scrap of an old newspaper I used to clean my brushes while I was painting my usual oilon paper).
Like I use to do for you, I also took some pics while I was painted this strange funny creature so you can see the process too:
