The funny figure (mixed media on paper)

An happy Sunday to you all!
I hope you are spending a nice weekend. Yesterday me and my hubby spent the most part of the day with with a nice young woman who is one of the daughters of our friend Laura. She went to our home to give us a copy of the book she published starting from her bachelor's thesis about the french composer Claude Debussi and the poet Verlaine titled "Debussy and Verlain: music and poem". We spent the afternoon talking about it, eating an exellent ice cream and watching videos and photos of her beautiful young parrot! A nice Saturday in good company, what's better? 😊

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors during the first and quiet hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of a small painting I made:

As you can see, the subject is a simple funny figure with a very large head and a flowers crown on it. I like to paint this kind of figures just to exercise my hand in a funny way. 😊
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (the size of a common postal card) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
