The freaky black bird (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
Another warm sunny (just a pale sun and some clouds around) day here.
Yesterday after the dinner my hubby @paolobeneforti had to teach to an art class in a city close to mine inside the lab of one of our friends and artist. Paolo is teaching how to work with clay to that class and so I went with him, helping him a little and working on some of my little sculptures between the other students. He started this art class around 3 weeks ago and the students are really all nice and friendly and we spent a nice time with them.

Today I'm here to share with you an artwork I started yesterday in the afternoon and I just gave the last brushstokes to it, so, in the following pics, you can see the final result of that piece:

As you can see, the subject is a sort of freaky black bird. I painted a similar one in a tiny size some weeks ago and I thought it could be a nice subject in a lager size.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A3 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painting this funny bird so you can see the process too:
