The freaky bird (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
Another (very) hot working week is started and I started my monday in my favorite way: working with my brushes and my colors!

To be honest, I feel myself so tired cause the hot hair, maybe it's because I lived the most part of my life in little villages on the mountains and so my body don't understand that now I live in a city. :P

While the city looks desert for the most part of the day cause the hot weather, I work inside my lab (that is the cooler room of my home) thinking about strange, freaky creatures I have in my mind.

This morning I woke up soon as usual and, after the first cup of coffee of the day, I worked on a new small painting on paper about a bird. You can see the final result of that painting in the following pics:

As you can see, the subject is a strange funny bird on a branch of a tree. For the body I chose some shades of grey where I added details in different colors.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this funny figure so you can see the process too:
