The European bee-eater (Merops apiaster) (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! I had a busy dayout of home, but finally I'm back at home and I can show you a new piece I painted this morning! It's raining hard today, my lovely furry friend is sleeping on the sofa and I can see the raindrops run on the glass of the window in front of me just now.
I went to buy some tools for my artworks (new canvas, new brushes and others) and I went to the postal office to send the pieces I sold in the past days. Now I have a cup of tea in my hands and some free minutes to stay here with you.
This morning I woke up soon as usual and I worked on a new sweet (and fat) bird portraits in my own illustrative style. In the following pics you can see the final result:

It's my own version of the European bee-eater (Merops apiaster). You can read more about this kind of birds here.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painted it:
