The common starling (Sturnus vulgaris) bird (mixed media on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! Another sunny day here, the birds are singing and flying all around from garden to garden, my furry friend Richy is sleeping hard on a chair in the backyard and my hubby is drawing his artworks inside the lab room.
It seems everything is ok, right? Wrong! Since soon in the morning we have no water at home, because there are men at work along the street where we live and so they had to close the water of all the houses around. As you can understand, even if it's not a great problem, it's not so easy and we had to take some water to the public fountain not so far from home to wait the time water will come back at home (I think we have to wait another couple of hours). ^_^
Well, thinking about something different, today I want to show you a new bird (in my own illustrative style) I painted yesterday: the common starling (Sturnus vulgaris).
In the following pics, you can see the final result:
It's an mixed media (oil colors, acrylic colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:
You can find this new artwork in my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom)!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
