The bird between leaves

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all!

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first and quiet hours of the day, while the city looks so silent and I can focus my mind (after I gave food to my furry friends Nanny and Bimba 😁 ) on my brushes and colors.

Some days ago I painted a bird with leaves on the body and on the tail on my small sketching book. I did it to fix an idea I had in my mind and to understand if it could work on a painting. Today I worked starting from that sketch and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of my daily piece:

You know I love to paint birds in my own illustratrive style and I like the final result.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors on the background and oil colors) painting on 300 gsm cotton paper in A3 size and, like I use to do every time I paint a new artwork, I took some pics while I was working with my brushes on my small working table so you can see the process too:

Now it's drying, but when it will be ready I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home where to be loved!
