Sometimes the creative process is long. 😊

An happy Friday to you all!
Today here in my area (Pistoia, in Italy) we had a red alert because rainy storms. The schools are closed, the same for the public gardens and others similar ones. Don't worry, at know everything in the area where I live is ok and I'm pretty sure it will be ok until the end of the storm, but reading the online news there are some areas close to mine where the rivers are overflowing.

Waiting the end of the rain storms and crossing my fingers everything will be ok for everyone around, I'm working on my paintings and I just finished an oil on canvas I started a long time ago. Yes, sometimes the creative process is a very long and I started this piece around one year ago. After I painted the head, I felt the need to wait the right idea to finish the piece and yesterday the right ideas came to me.

As you can see, the subject similar to the one I shared with you yesterday but, in my opinion, it works better on a large canvas.
It's an oil painting on canvas and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process.

At first, around one year ago I pause this artwork here:

Yesterday I finally place it on the easel to finish what I started months ago:

Now this piece is drying, but when it will be ready I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom)!
