Sketching a Guinea fowl.

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! The sky over my city is full of clouds today, but I cross my fingers to see the Sun shining later, so I could enjoy to stay in my backyard for a pause from my brushes and colors. 😊
Today I'm here because a couple of days ago I watched some nice pics about the Guinea fowls took by @papilloncharity (you can watch them here) and I immediatly thought this kind of bird could be a nice subject to paint, so I sketched it on my sketchbook:

Here in my area there is no this kind of bird and when I watched the pics I was very intrigued by the many little white spots on the body and by the touches of light blue on the neck and also by the red knob!

This one is just a simple sketch (or study) to understand if it can work on a painting, but at the end I like the final result so I'll paint it again on one of my next artwork.
I used my oil colors on a page of my small sketchbook and, like I use to do every time I paint or sketch something new, I took some pics while I was painting this funny bird so you can see the process too:

I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
