Puuuurfect love. ❤️

An happy Sunday to you all!
Yesterday me and my hubby @paolobeneforti spent a very interesting afternoon inside the local library where Paolo had a public talk with a sociologist and a writer about the impact of the flow of images and reels on the art field. I'll tell you more soon, also because in the next days we have to transcribe the audio recording.

Now I'm here for a different thing I want to share with you. I have to start with a bad news, because our furry friend Richy (our wonderful sweet little helper) passed away around 2 weeks ago. Richy (best known as Cicciogatto) was very very old and there was nothing we could do, just to stay close to him until the end, loving him as the same way we loved him for all the years he was with us. You can understand our sadness and even if it happened 2 weeks ago, I still feel myself not so comfortable to talk about it around. ❤️
Now I decided it was time to tell you about it because we decided to give a new home (and a lot of love) to a couple of special female cats, so it's time to introduce you 2 new members of the Beneforti's family: Nanny and Bimba!❤️

We adopted them from a local animal shelter few days ago. Nanny (around 2-3 years old, but we are not sure) is the mom of Bimba (around 2 months old) and, as you can see, they are both so sweet:

Bimba (the little one), like all the little kittens loves so much to play with everything, but her favorite activity is to play with the tail of her mom (but it started to play also with my own feet :D ). They are very friendly with us, it seems they immediatly understood we are good humans and while we are giving love (and good food) to them, they are helping our heart to stay positive after we missed our beloved Richy. ❤️
While I'm writing here they are sleeping close to my feet, under my working table and this makes my Sunday a very sweet Sunday, believe me.

See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

This talk sounds so interesting. It makes me think about the book titled, The Gutenberg Galaxy by Marshall McLuhan. And now I want to read that book over again.

I'm so sorry to hear about Richy. I know you will always be more lovely people because of the love that you shared with him. That will stay and continue to make the entire world a bit more beautiful exponentially.
And now these two new kitties get to experience the wonderful life of living with you. I might really like being one of your kitty cats myself.

So sad to hear about Richy, but we try to give our furry friends their best life. I'm sure you will do that for the new arrivals.

Richy was really a sweet old boys. Working at home we used to spend a lot of time all together in the same space and, to be honest, I miss him so much, but these new arrivals make feel up and this is good for our hearts. ❤️
