Just a face (oil on paper)

An happy Friday to you all! The weekend ( a long long weekend ^_^ ) is just around the corner, under the Chistmas tree I placed inside the lab room there are a lot of small packages for my relatives and friends, the weather looks not so bad and I'm feeling in the right mood for Christmas, what's better? :D

I'll spend the Christmas lunch with the relatives of my hubby @paolobeneforti and my mom too, wile my daughter and her hubby will be with her mother in law not so far from us. It will be another Christmas Day in family and I like it.
This morning, like I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on a new, small artwork during the first hours of the day, while my city seems still in bed and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, it's a face in my own style.It was a sort of exercise for me, because I was curious to see how could work a simple face on a small size. I added some leaves under an eye and because of this the face looks a little sad (the next face will be less sad, promise).
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and I also took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:
