Hoping in a little rain
Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
Another very very hot day here in my area, but it seems we have to "survive" the hot temperature until Sunday, when (we are crossing our fingers) maybe it will rain and the temperatures will go down a little.
At now it's almost impossible to stay outside between the lunch and the dinner and my city is so silent and empty during the central hours of the day.
Watching around in my backyard and on the gardens close to my home, I can see the plants really need a little raind and the few birds that from time to time I can watch on the branches of my plum tree have the beak open (a way to cool down for the birds).
A couple of days ago, after the dinner, I went to visit my mom who lives in a small village close to my city. Fortunately there was a cool air there, also because it's a village between the forests and so we can breath a little fresh air outside before to come back at home.
I could see the differences between the gardens in that little village and the gardens around my backyard. In the village there are a lot of different flowers and green plants, here the leaves are dried and there are just few flowers to give some touches of colors.
I live for the most part of my life out of the city and so maybe because of this now I really don't like the hot days of summer, especially the hot hot ones around the August 15th. 😁
Well, I have to resist for another few days and after I can come back to my daily routine. ❤️

Out of topic but may I ask what brand and unit of the phone you are using to take some pictures? ‘Coz the photos you shared are so good! Esp. The last one! 😲
For these ones I used my camera, a Nikon coolpix B700. 😊
We had some rain where I work today, but nothing much at home. I am having to do some watering, but we saved up previous rainwater for that. The garden is quite productive and I want to make the most of that.
I hope you get some rain too.

I don't have vegetables in my small backyard, but my mom has a productive garden close to her home in the small village where she lives and, like you, she saved up previous rainwater. That rainwater is precious now and I hope it will rain soon so my mom will have no problem to do watering. 😊
