Giving a new life to a paper box (oil and ink on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all! Another rainy day here, the sky is gray but I can add some colors around thanks my brushes and so it's ok. 😊
Yesterday, in the afternoon, I went with my hubby and my friend Margarita to talk about our artworks to the students of a school in my city. Even if before to go there I felt myself a little anxious, it was really an awesome time. There were around 20-25 young boys and girls (16-18 years old) and it was fantastic to see they eyes become so big watching our artworks with a lot of "Wow, so beautiful" and a lot of smile. It gave me a lot of positive vibes. We will be there for another time in the next weeks, so I'll tell you more about it soon.❤️

Now I'm here to share with you a new "special" old boxes that my mom gave me weeks ago. It was a nice paper box (around 30-40 years old) of cotton threads. My mom used to embroider like an home worker for many years in the past and so she had a lot of this kind of paper box at home.

This morning I decided to give a new life to one of them using my oil colors, the white ink and, sure, my imagination:

I have a lot of them to paint and soon I'll share with you some other ones, but in the meantime you can see some pics I took while I was painting this one so you can see the process too:
