Exercising my imagination on my sketchbook (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Friday and an happy first day of August to you all!
Another Friday, another weekend just around the corner. ❤️
Yesterday, like I use to do every Thursday, in the afternoon I went to help Diana, the mom of the 2 little twins. Now they started with their first steps without our hands and it was exciting to watch them came to me to give me a hug. ❤️ When I'm there is like to take a break from my daily life. We play all together, we chat and drink a coffee if the little one are taking a nap and if is not too hot we enjoy the time in the garden.
As you can understand, when I come back at home I feel myself in a positive mood and full of inspiration for my artworks. ❤️

This morning I decided to spend a little time improving my imagination on my sketchbook and this is one of the idea I fixed on paper:

I cut a shape of house from the old newspaper I used to clean my brushes while I'm painting and I glued it on a page. After I used acrylic colors, a red pencil and a couple of watercolor markers to add some plants around it.

Like I use to do, I took some pics while I was working on this house so you can see the process too:
