Connections (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
Another sunny but cold day here. The Nature seems to rest waiting the Springtime, there are no leaves on my plum tree, but the birds continue to fly around from tree to tree and from a garden to another garden. Watching their big bellies from my window, I'm pretty sure they found all the food they need. 😁

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon and, after I gave the food to my furry friends Nanny and Bimba and after a cup of hot coffee, I started to work on a new oil painting on paper.
I just finished to paint that piece and so I can share with you the final result:

This is an artwork where I painted some of my favorite elements: an human figure with just some lines to represent the face, an house and a long long plant. While I was painting it I was thinking about the connections between us and our home. It could be the house where we were born or the house where we live now, but there's always a connection with that building that's never just a "building" for us.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do , I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
