Coming back to my usual (fat) birds (oil on paper)

An happy Sunday to you all! Yesterday I had a very busy day, because we opened the door of our lab home to the citizen and, late in the afternoon, one of our friend who is a known italian writer and a literary critic come to us for an interesting book signing.
It was a fantastic, exciting Saturday for me and my hubby and soon I'll wrote a content about it with the photos I took during the event, promise!
Today I feel myself a little tired, but, in the morning, I spent some time painting one of my usual funny (and fat) bird.

As you can see, after te sketches about birds I shared with you in my previous content, today I came back to my usual one even if I'll try something new about them as soon as possible. ^_^

This is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (the size of a postal card) and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted it on my little working table so you can see the process too:

Seems that you had a very active Saturday, and the autograph session with one of famous Italian writer simply must be an extravaganza! I’m looking forward to knowing more details and also seeing the photos. Your bird painting is so adorable that it really mirrors your signature style. The photos of the process give us a charming view into your creative path. I am confident that this new piece of art will find a satisfied owner in no time.
