Climate Fiction Days, a festival dedicated to literature on climate change. ❤️

Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! I wish you a wonderful weekend!
It was an interesting, busy week for me and my hubby @paolobeneforti , because during these day there, in my city (Pistoia, Italy) there are a lot of events for the Climate Fiction Days Festival.
This Festival is organized by some friends of us, included 2 translators who work since a lot of years to translate poems and novels from English and French to italian language.
This is the second year of the festival and, as they wrote on the site (here) during these days our city "Pistoia becomes the beating heart of stories that imagine the future and help us to understand the present".
This second edition started on Monday and it will end tomorrow with different events, internationals poets and meetings and music too.
I went with my hubby and with my awesome friend Elena to 2 events: an art exhibition by Guido Scarabottolo, a known italian illustrator, and, yesterday, to a poems reading where there were Paola Loreto (the italian translator of Mary Oliver) and Helen Moore, an american poet.

In the following pics you can see, at first, some pics I took of the art exhibition:

It seems a lot of people are in denial about climate change, but we are seeing the effects all over the world. It will only be worse if we nothing even if we cannot totally stop it. I hope you enjoyed the event.

I agree with you, we are seeing the effects all over the world. To be honest, I'm sad for the future of the new generations, but I cross my fingers (and I do my best) for them. ❤️
