Another new "Thinking about the sea" (mixed media on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
Yesterday, in the afternoon, we enjoyed around one hours of rain, finally! It was great because while it was raining hard the air was cool and it seemed every plants, humans and animals could finally come back to life. After the dinner me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went outside for a long walk and the cooler air along the side of the river close to our home made us feel so good after a lot of very hot days! There was more water than during the previous days on the river and we watched also a family of ducks with 8 little ones, so sweet!
Just to know, this morning the day started another time with a very hot weather, but at now I can see some dark clouds on the horizon and I cross my fingers hoping those clouds will come over my area. 😊 My daughter @noemilunastorta today is with me at my home and I'm pretty sure she's crossing her fingers like me to have some dark couds over our heads to breath a little cooler air. 😆
Yesterday, while outside was raining, I worked on another commissioned artworks (a total of 10 oil paintings on paper) for my customer and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of that piece:
My customer said he loved a past artwork I sold months ago about an human figure who looks like a snail with a tiny house on the back and he asked me to paint a similar one but with a paper boat instead of this house and so I made it for him. ❤️
This one, like the previous one, it's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the process too:
I hope you like it!
In the following pic you can see the first five commissioned artworks I shared with you in my previous content:

I cross my fingers for a little cool air in both our countries, dear Steve. 😊
The human figure that looks like a snail is cute, especially, with the way it holds up that flowers. It is a very interesting art.
Thanks so much! ^_^
Beautiful work. 😘👏
Thanks. 😊
😘
The rain always fills us with inspiration. It is a very beautiful job that you do. Congratulations.
Thanks so much, Lizandra. ❤️
He has all the Atribud required, the sea ship and Whale. Perhaps it is Jona himself who plans to be swallowed by Whale. The sea is trying Jona,
The story about Jona and the whale is very inspiring for some illustrations, I think. ^_^ It reminds my childhood, because this is one of the stories used to tell to the little ones (but, to be honest, when I was a child I just intrigued by that large large fish 😊 ).
