Another black bird (linocut)

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are spending a nice weekend! After a very cold Saturday, after we watched the snow on the peaks around, today the Sun is shining on the sky. It's not warm outside like a common day of the end of November, but we need just a warm coat to stay out in a confortable way and so, in the afternoon, me and my hubby will go to the center of my city for a relaxing walking along the streets full of Christmas decorations. 😊

This morning, after my first coffee of the day and after I gave food to my furry friends Nanny and Bimba, I thought to carve a new block to make some prints about one of my recent kind of birds. I think I'm a little obsessed by these birds during this month, but I like to paint them and so I wanted to see how it could work on a lino block and, in the following pics, you can see the first print I made (a prototype):

I'm having so much fun to carve (and hand print by myself) my own characters or my usual scenes and my mind seems to be full of different ideas for the next ones too.
As usual I took some pics while I was carving and printing (I used water based ink and a wooden spoon to print it) this one:
