A tiny house in a vase (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all!
Today here the Sun is shining on the sky and even if we can breath the winter air all around it's warm enough to enjoy my pauses from brushes and colors in my backyard.
In the afternoon I'll meet my friend Elena and we will go togheter to an interesting event in the main square of my city where there is a architecture festival and, during the event, a yourta (yes, a yurta! 😁 ) will be in the center of our square called Piazza del Duomo. I'll take some pics to share with you, I promise!
Now I'm here to share with you the final result of a painting I started yesterday in the afternoon. I gave it the last touches just few minutes ago and now it's dry. Oil on paper dry really fast (while oil on canvas usually needs 1 or 2 weeks to dry enough) and so I like to use this technique every time I can. ❤️

As you can see, I painted a vase with plants and one of my usual scenes about home on it, everything in my own illustrative style.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A3 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the steps of the process too:

I have always painted in oil on canvas and it takes that long to dry and if it is summer, because in winter and with the humidity it takes much longer. But I have never done it on paper and the truth is that it looks very good.

It is a beautiful work, very warm that alludes to many things, among them the home, nature, the art of cooking and what I like most is that little detail of the girl with her dog at the bottom, she has to climb the stairs to get to the home where she will feel happy and with her family. That's what inspires me. What a delicate work, I hope it will soon find a beautiful place.

And it will be great that visit and walk you will do with your friend, I hope you enjoy it very much. Great job! Hugs!
