A sweet little bird (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! Tomorrow here in Italy we will celebrate the day of the Befana! In our folklore, the Befana is an ugly old woman similar to a witch who delivers gifts to children who were good children along the year on Epiphany Eve.
When my mom was a child Santa was unknown in my area and Befaba was the one who delivered gift to the little ones (at that time, the little ones used to receive some tangerines, that was a not common fruit here and not so cheap) or chestnuts. Just to know, now the Befana delivers a lot of cookies, chocolate and candies. 😁
It will be an holiday here and we will have a great lunch with many relatives.

Coming back to the theme of this content, this morning I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first, quiet hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of my tiny daily piece:

As you can see, the subject is a little sweet bird on a branch with many delicate brown leaves.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do every time I paint a new piece, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
