A sweet brown bird (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! Here in my area today the sun is shining on the sky, the bees are flying all around the ivy and my sweet ffurry friends Nanny and Birba are sleeping under the branches of my plum tree. It looks like to be an awesome and relaxing Saturday morning. 😊

Since my furry friends started to go out in my backyard for the most part of the day, as you can understand there are less birds around than before, but I can see them flying from tree to tree in the gardens close to mine and thinking about them this morning I thought to paint a bird on my small sketchbook.

In the following pics, you can see the final result of my new bird:

I left my hands free to work on the blank sheet and my imagination creates a bird in the shades of brown colors and a long tail full of delicate leaves. I like the final result and I think I'll paint this kind of birds on one of my next paintings on canvas.
It's an oil colors painting on around 150 gsm paper in A5 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
