A special artwork for my daughter (oil on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend and a quiet start of a new working week.
Yesterday me and my hubby @paolobeneforti spent the afternoon with my aughter @noemilunastorta and her hubby to help them in their new home. Around one month ago they bought their "home sweet home", an awesome house in a village not so far from my city and now they are working on it a little before to start to live there. There are just few works to do there and they bought the house for a very good price, so this is an exciting time for them (and for us too, because we are very proud of Noemi and Vanni ❤️).
When they bought the house I promised to paint something for them and so I did it!
My daughter said me what kind of scenes she loves from my usual ones and I just finished the artwork, so you can see the final result in the following pics:
I painted this piece on a wooden board. I had an old decorated frame at home and so I decided to use it as a part of this piece painting the frame in the same shades of gray and black of the background.
As you can see, the scene is similar to a one I painted some weeks ago where a couple of freaky birds are flying around an house, everythin in my own illustrative style.
It's an oil colors painting and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting so you can see the process too:
Noemi is happy for her new painting to hang on her new home and I can't wait to see my piece there, as a good wish of a wonderful life inside that home. ❤️
